Apple Vision Pro is here! During WWDC, Apple unveiled its XR headset, which was touted as revolutionary: Will this be the long-awaited “iPhone moment” of the VR world?

Finally, the rumors have come to an end: On June 6, Apple unveiled Vision Pro, the iPhone and Mac manufacturer’s first extended reality headset, and Vision OS, Apple’s dedicated XR operating system. The answers to arguably the most important questions: available in early 2024, Apple Vision Pro will be priced at $3499 (plus tax). Vision Pro will first be offered in the USA, other countries are to follow in the course of 2024.

Not Reality One, not Reality Pro: Apple’s XR glasses are called Vision Pro
EyeSight looks a bit creepy: Vision Pro has a display in the front

Vision Pro works autonomously, it has its own computer inside. The device is battery-powered, one of the batteries looks like a somewhat larger iPhone power bank and should keep the headset running for two hours. Additional batteries can be purchased for a quick change.
